Não estamos garantidos ainda na fase de grupos, temos dois cenários possíveis, sendo que um deles será escolhido pelos adms no ultimo dia de inscrição.

4.1.1 - Qualification KnockOut – Detailed Explanation
Below are 2 different scenarios to explain in detail how this will work. Both scenarios lead
to 16 teams in GroupStage. The scenario will be finalized after the registration closes at
2013-10-27, 23.59 CET, and we know the correct number of teams.

Scenario A - 21 registered teams
Rank 01–08 from NDC 2012 (France to Italy) automatically qualify for GroupStage.

Rank 09–11 from NDC 2012 also qualify for GroupStage.
(09–Latvia 10– Chile 11– Brazil )

Rank 12–16 from NDC 2012 + new teams are split up into 2 tiers.
Tier A Tier B
12 – Czech Republic 17 – New Team A
13 – Nordic 18 – New Team B
14 – Portugal 19 – New Team C
15 – The Netherlands 20 – New Team D
16 – USA 21 – New Team E

Match 1: Rank 12 – Czech Republic is drawn against a team from Tier B.
Match 2: Rank 13 – Nordic is drawn against a team from Tier B.
Match 3: Rank 14 – Portugal is drawn against a team from Tier B.
Match 4: Rank 15 – The Netherlands are drawn against a team from Tier B.
Match 5: Rank 16 – USA are drawn against a team from Tier B.

The winners of these 5 matches qualify for GroupStage.

The losers of these 5 matches continue to LuckyLoser Division.


O segundo cenário:

Scenario B – 24 registered teams
Rank 01–08 from NDC 2012 (France to Italy) automatically qualify for GroupStage.

Rank 09–16 from NDC 2012+ new teams are split up into 2 tiers.
Tier A Tier B
09 – Latvia 17 – New Team A
10 – Chile 18 – New Team B
11 – Brazil 19 – New Team C
12 – Czech Republic 20 – New Team D
13 – Nordic 21 – New Team E
14 – Portugal etc.
15 – The Netherlands
16 – USA

Match 1: Rank 09 – Latvia is drawn against a team from Tier B.
Match 2: Rank 10 – Chile is drawn against a team from Tier B.
Match 3: Rank 11 – Brazil is drawn against a team from Tier B.
Match 4: Rank 12 – Czech Republic is drawn against a team from Tier B.
Match 5: Rank 13 – Nordic is drawn against a team from Tier B.
Match 6: Rank 14 – Portugal is drawn against a team from Tier B.
Match 7: Rank 15 – The Netherlands is drawn against a team from Tier B.
Match 8: Rank 16 – USA is drawn against a team from Tier B.

The winners of these 8 matches qualify for GroupStage.
The losers of these 8 matches continue to LuckyLoser Division.
